Just in case this is of interest - Epson Direct is marketing a laptop
with Linux pre-installed.  Here's the link:

I realize that most of us are perfectly capable of putting Linux into
whatever we buy, but for a new laptop, having Linux in from the
manufacturer could make guarantee issues go more smoothly in case the
machine needs servicing.
