AFAICT, compared to GPLv2, there's a lot of anti-DRM and anti-patent posturing, but it's sound and fury signifying nothing, except that corporate would-be redistributers of GPL software are put at significant risk and cost of verifying that their organization doesn't have any relevant patent licenses. The patent license is a mess, and the clauses that tell the court "if it's illegal to do what the license says, do it anyway" are a joke.
