I don't like GPLv3 (I'm sure you could tell), but "monstrosity" and
"mockery" goes too far IMO.  Remember, it was designed by a very large
committee.  That may have been a bad idea, but it wasn't until 1865
that the U.S. managed to kill off (literally in some cases) similar
thoughts about the democracy embodied in the Constitution of 1789.
