You did not specify any specific Japanese language support need, but since this is the Tokyo LUG, let me suggest Vine linux, which I have had some experience with at Kyoto University. It does use .deb rather than .rpm, at least in the version I know, but apart from that I suspect it has all the other support you require. Why I suggest it is primarily because as a "half-commercial" solution, there are decent fonts for Japanese included, and you can get paid support too if needed by your workplace. It seems to be fairly well regarded as a distribution also, judging by what I heard while at the university. Regards, Gernot
