I belong to a BMW motorcycle owners list that has among its members a couple of people who, as grad students, trained Ham and Shem for their sub-orbital flights in 1959 (yeah, they're both in their late-Seventies / early-Eighties and one of them has two one million mile riding awards from BMW). They say that reinforcement is the key to proper training in keyboard use. Therefore, on that particular list, it is considered de rigeuer for each and every list member to respond to a post such as the original one above with a private post which says "Read all the way to the bottom of the digest and follow the easy-to-understand instructions, you retarded asshole." Sometimes, some people write rude stuff, too. But, hey, it's a motorcycle list ...
Perhaps TLUG would benefit from such an agreed policy?
