Well, there is a rumor that RH developers and documenters are in the pay
of MS.  I usually believe it after an upgrade or reading some of the
docs.  :)

I only tested it on Ubuntu.  However, it should be identical with
Kubuntu, especially if you installed the binaries.

No, but I tend to use generic type drivers.  Eventually, I did have one
with an NVidia card, but it runs just as well (for my limited graphic
needs) with the generic kernel nv driver.
