TLUG,
I had to reinstall Ubuntu on a machine in my home network, and so I'm trying to re-establish it's network connection to my one other machine.
I've been through this before, so I thought I knew what I was doing. In any case, I used this web page as a reference to make sure I was on the right track.
In the server /etc/exports file, I've got: /home/media media-centre(rw,no_root_squash)
On the client /etc/fstab, I've got: 192.168.0.4:/home/media /home/dave/media nfs rw 0 0
On the client, when I try to mount the network drive, I get the following error.
$ sudo mount -a
mount.nfs: access denied by server while mounting 192.168.0.4:/home/media
I set /home/media to be 777 permissions to be sure it wasn't a permissions error. And I turned off the firewall. But it's still returning the exact same error.
What other permission could be involved?
Thanks for any advice.
