On one side, you have a republican that is two democratic for the taste of his party, and on the other you have a democrat that is two republican for the tastes of his party. They both have about equal popularity from the outset, and every time one comes up with a "fatal flaw" the other one has one published within the week. First campaign in history where every handfull of mud that gets thrown, is quickly followed by the represented candidate with public statement that they are just as bad and don't want their people flinging mud. :P I think in the end the election will come down to the fact that people are a little anti-republican at the moment. No other real clincher involved. --- Ken
