Thanks for the explanation. Are there any known bugs in the way
Thunderbird handles a "301 Moved Permanently" request? I use that
to create user friendly URLs the same way that Wikipedia does.
Unfortunately, I'm not as familiar with the details of TB error
handling. If I had to guess, it would be exactly similar to Firefox
or that it would line up exactly with the W3C specification.
