Thanks for responding,How about going to a major Japanese site and looking at their css?I've tried that, and discovered so far that most Japanese sites use a sans-serif based font. Unfortunately, the site I'm working on now leans more toward a serif style.
Of course, "serif" and "sans-serif" aren't literal distinctions for Japanese, but inasmuch as which Japanese fonts look good next to serif and sans-serif fonts, the distinction matters.
