Ink cartridge is described in Wikipedia so you can see that there.

On the other hand print head receives electronic signal for  
controlling the motor and
actually mechanically inject the ink on the paper at the right place so
that the intended image is shown in the target area.

I'm referring the printing heads in the previous mail and you often
have to buy them at online shops or from the printer maker.
