I've been trying to find a decent online Japanese<->Japanese dictionary.
By far, the two that come most recommended are Sanseido (
http://www.sanseido.net/ ) and Goo ( http://dictionary.goo.ne.jp/ ).
The thing is, they aren't very complete.
For example, I recently looked up the word 補佐官. Neither dictionary
had an entry for it.
alc[1] is not an JJ dictionary but it come with
lots of EJ examples
so you can pick the right word for your translation.
Unlike sanseido and goo, you don't get a definition in J but for a
gaijin like us,
do we *REALLY* need it if we have no idea on what context it
should be used?
