One reason is not avoiding repetitive pictures while the character is moving, unlike Disney's ones where they move very smoothly using many pictures painted carefully in each motion. "Dragon Ball" is an example of such low cost programs repeatedly showing similar drawings. However some recent ones are improved in Japan and made enjoyable with much better qualities.
