Unfortunately I can't go into detail publicly, but it needs to read them in very, very quickly. If you have flown ANA in the last couple of years and you have seen their QR code / RFID system; that's basically the sort of thing I would like replicate. It has to be able to read the code and process it all within a second or so. I was thinking of something like this: http://www.inspiry.cn/product/rc532.html . Now if I were only fluent in Chinese..... That being said, if there is a way to make it work that quickly with an Andriod device (maybe one of these new tablets I keep reading about on engadget) that would be just as well and maybe even a bit higher on the coolness factor.
