Sach, Romeo, Josh, Scott, Thank you all for responding. Romeo was on the right track that I now had an "eth1" interface that was not functioning. Long story short, following information I found on the Ubuntu forums: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=473944 ... I edited /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persitent-net.rules, and removed the entry marked "eth0", and then renamed the remaining "eth1" to "eth0". Reboot, and boom, happy networking. I don't know how I would have created an eth1 or what happened, but it's working now. Thanks to everyone for their help and support. -- Dave M G
