Tobias, Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, my computer does have kind of low RAM at about half a gig. I looked at trying to expand it to 1 gig, but the Panasonic model I have used a particular RAM chip that comes in an extra tiny size, and is both hard to find and not made anymore. I hunted around Akihabara, but came up with nothing. But thanks for the tips on the additional RAM management options. I'll see if RamZSwap makes an improvement. -- Dave M G
