[tlug] Anthy on Ubuntu CPU hog?

I recently installed screen on my laptop and had it display the load
average in the status bar. This got me to notice that even when there
are no user processes running, the load average is very high.

A quick top and ps is pointing the finger at anthy. I closed Anthy and
the CPU average came back down to normal. Has anyone else noticed
anthy being such a CPU hog?

I found this bug report which seems to be related:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ibus/+bug/637671 but not
sure if/when the fix will make it into my 10.10 Maverick though.
