That's the standard system to access configuration of almost any wireless AP or router so it should work. Though it is not recommended to configure a wireless device over a wireless connection, your router should enable by default a 'factory' wireless network. If so you could try accessing 192.168.2.1 over such wireless network, just to understand if the router works. If the router doesn't have any problem, plug the utp cable on your pc and statically assign an address 192.168.2.X/24 on your NIC. At that point if any ping to 192.168.2.1 works, you should be able to access the configuration interface of your router through your browser.
