Thanks, Pier. I'm pretty sure when I originally did that I just
copied/pasted from the web instructions. Anyway I re-ran the
command pasting from your instructions and got exactly the
same results.

Then I re-ran the "make" command with the same results, too,
which I am reproducing here:
