You may already know about this page, but it is really great after a quake to be pretty sure your friends and family are OK: http://www.jma.go.jp/jp/quake/ You can drill down on specific quakes and look at the shindo readings at each sensor station: http://www.jma.go.jp/jp/quake/3/340/20120315064425391-150639.html > Would be nice if Western media gave these values out too...
