Rough guideline for battery life: After 90 minutes with the screen most 
of the way
up and the Radeon chip turned on, I'm at 50% charge. I never tested it 
in Windows, so no baseline there, but HP claims some 
much-longer-than-3-hours battery life, IIRC. You can also buy a larger 
battery that covers the whole bottom of the machine, I believe.
Still haven't figured out how to disable the touchpad when typing. The 
disable box is checked, but...
