>>>Neither can connect to my printer (so I must still depend on my WXP). I can't download Google Earth on either. What problems have you had with your printer? Google Earth can be a little tricky since it can't just be apt-get installed. It's just the way it worked out. I chose those two because of their ease to install. I haven't tried others but they may be easier. Don't know. I do feel they have their limitations. Neither can connect to my printer (so I must still depend on my WXP). I can't download Google Earth on either. What I consider basics work fine: mail, browser, YouTube. It's for the purpose of advancing from here that I look to learn Linux. > > -----Original Message----- > From: Nicolas Limare [mailto:nicolas+tlug@example.com] > Sent: Sunday, May 27, 2012 11:55 PM > To: Tokyo Linux Users Group > Subject: [tlug] [OT] plonk [Re: Classes] > >> Americans are coward chickens that just run away >> when challenged about their physical abilities. > > And Lewske Wada is a boring moron.
