Hi.  It turns out that Mint Cinnamon had everything I needed.  I was 
going to try the Mate interface because according to the article it was 
derived from Gnome 2.  So far Cinnamon which is Gnome-3 derived -- looks 
quite nice though...
Is anyone else using Mint Cinnamon?  What are your impressions??
