Yes, well, that particular job fair is for Japanese companies who want
to hire Japanese planning to return home or foreigners who are
interested in working in Japan.  The majority, though, is from the
former group...I'm guessing based on the level of Japanese I was
hearing from other applicants.

Of course, they are not just IT firms...but any company.  In
hindsight, I'm a bit surprised...I didn't realize there was that many
potential applicants to justify having an overseas job fair.  I
thought Japanese companies were still in the mindset of hiring from
Todai, Kyodai, etc.

If anyone here goes to this job fair someday, I'd be interested to
hear how the job fair has changed...  [As it's off-topic, via private
e-mail would be fine ;-) ]
