Quickly to say, I commonly use "NFS" shares as opposed to anything else, specially "CIFS" which is in my book Micro$hit compatibility stuff.In 2008 (or so), Google did a survey of HD manufacturing and kept the results partially non-public. My own experience, HITACHI, now Hitachi GST/WD at the top, although hopefully they don't turn "south" after the merger and SEAGATE being just random quality. Some SEAGATE 2TB models are known to have 48% failure rate or so.Cheers everybody.
