Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Also I am using LX since a while I am stillĀ a newbie when it comes to commands.
Do you mean that I need to add the three export lines into the file /.xinitrc ?
I scanned my system and found only:
/etc/X11/xinit/and inside there:
-xinitrc
-xinputrc
-xserverrcand the folder xinitrc.d and inside is nothing, not even a hidden file.
The xinitric file contains as an active line: ". /etc/X11/Xsession
What i don't find is an /.xinitrc file (with a dot in front) even my search includes hiddenfiles
I am looking forward to your reply.
Regards,
Reinhold

Neither IBUS-Anthy nor IBUS-mozc will change to Japanese writing.
In LM 17.3 KDE 64 bit IBUS-anthy is working perfect.
In LM19.1 Cinnamon 64bit IBUS-mozc is working.
Most of the time, the following is works for me (Xorg);
```
export GTK_IM_MODULE=xim
export XMODIFIERS=@im=ibus
export QT_IM_MODULE=xim
```
In my case, it's in `~/.xinitrc`. Not sure where you should put it.
And I'm not sure what you should do if you're using Wayland (eg. not Xorg)
