Hi, my friend sent me the following question. This guy can't join the ML due to the restrictions at his site, so I'm posting it for him. Could any of you help him out? It might be better to reply to him directly, so that I won't have to transfer everything (although I'll do it if neccessary). Thanks! Sorry to bother you with this, but I'm having some problems with "kon". When I invokes it, it runs well, ok. But when I want to terminate it,... I don't know how to do. If I simply kill it, the console is unreadable (only one character of two is displayed). And I need to terminate it when I want to read/write in french, which is 8-bit charset (iso-8859-1). And finally, what can I do to display also JIS codes, not only EUC, with kon ? Thanks in advance. -- A bient $@example.com(J
