Do I have to use one compiled just for Apache? >and a map file (called imagemap.conf under NCSA HTTPd's sample >implementation). As far as I can 'find' imagemap.conf doesn't exist on wormhole. >You could also get this kind of error if you have a >version mismatch so that the (presumably) old version of the imagemap >script (script? the NCSA version is a C program) is failing to send >headers required by the new version. Oooopss, sorry - that was my alter-windoze self expecting Netscape to act the same way across platforms. Imagemaps work fine when I'm on-line but don't show the coordinates. When I click on the local imagemap I get: Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Please contact blah blah blah. I thought I followed Apache's set-up instructions to a T, but I've missed something somewhere and it's buggin' the **** out of me. Oh well , back to work (I love 3 day weekends.....but I hate Tuesdays) Jim S. ----------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor will appear below ----------------------------------------------------------------- TLUG September 28th meeting is sponsored by Fusion Systems Japan, Inc., a global professional services firm. http://www.fsj.co.jp No. 2 Toshin Aobadai Building 9F, 3-17-13 Aobadai, Meguro-ku, Tokyo 153, Japan Tel: (03)5456-7561 Fax: (03)5458-4422 info@example.com
