   Over the weekend I installed RedHat 4.1 (from Craig's RedHat
   freebie set) on a Compaq 486. My aha1520 worked fine with the
   2.0.27 kernel shipped with that release (with LILO appends).

% found that 2.1.17 works OK.  No lilo append additions are
% required.  I remember the same thing happened with 1.2.0 -when
% it first came out the AHA152x drivers failed, but 1.3 worked
% OK.
