-------------------------------------------------------- tlug note from Dennis McMurchy <denismcm@example.com> -------------------------------------------------------- Hi, Well I've taken a look at ArenaCJK. It's definitely a work in progress, shall we say. As far as I can tell it does not display Japanese or Chinese properly at all. It seems to be unable to allocate a color map properly, so uses a private one. It crashes quite freely and hangs up on the simplest of tasks (though it display the jpg image in my homepage.html just fine). On the plus side, I absolutely love the Zoom-in/Zoom-out buttons (which seem to work fine - and I cranked the magnification up to where individual Roman letters occupy a 2cm x 2cm square). This is great for those of us who don't see quite as well as we used to. Arena will have to go through a few more iterations before it is of interest to anyone other than hard-core core dump aficionados. Oh well.
