tlug: XEmacs & strokes.el

--------------------------------------------------------
tlug note from "Stephen J. Turnbull" <turnbull@example.com>
--------------------------------------------------------
There is a package in XEmacs (this is not available in GNU Emacs yet)
called "strokes.el" which allows you to control XEmacs with "mouse
gestures" (those of you who have a Zaurus or similar with
"Inku-wapuro" will know what I mean).

Recently there's been discussion on xemacs-beta about using it for
Asian language input. Anybody have any experience with this package?
I'm going to give it a try but never heard of it before yesterday :-)

This is _not_ yet an input method; there are no character-recognition
dictionaries yet. But it looks like it has potential to be vewwy
vewwy cool. Anyway, I couldn't resist mentioning something that will
keep Craig busy for hours.

Steve
