Now that JAS has decided to offer reduced rates, I can fly from
nearby Misawa and be over to Tokyo Stn. in less than 2 hours. Can't
say about the timing from there to Tsukuba relates, though...

October 11 actually works out pretty well for me, so I'll plan on
trying to get down there. Can't say for sure, but it should be fine.
Hope you don't object to a few lower-level questions!

If there is anything happening for dinner, my vote goes for Indian
food...
