-------------------------------------------------------- tlug note from Yong-Ming Hua <yhua@example.com> -------------------------------------------------------- Hi folks, I am stuck in sendmail. I have a wee network as below at home. A B -------- -------- --------- |Linux |------------| HUB |---------- | Linux | -------- --------- --------- | | | ------- |Win95 | -------- Both A and B have same network addresses. Both are running sendmail. But, B can't send mails to A, nor A to B for some unknown reason. A is 192.168.32.6 B is 192.168.32.7 The only thing I can think about is their names. A is sean.ai.is.uec.ac.jp B is bryce.lit.tamagawa.ac.jp I wrote, however, IP - hostnames.domainnames in /etc/hosts. I also initialized /etc/aliases. But the more I send mails from either machine, the more the machine eats them up and keeps them in spools and would not send them. Do I have to fiddle with sendmail.cf or should I do something else such as making the domain names same? I seem to have had no such trouble before but only after I upgraded the kernel, I was stuck. (A) machine is mobile, so I set /etc/network 127.0.0.1, but wrote /etc/pcmcia/ network.orts as usual. No DNS,Gateway, but just /etc/hosts. Anyone give me solution please. Thanks in advance.
