-------------------------------------------------------- tlug note from "Stephen J. Turnbull" <turnbull@example.com> -------------------------------------------------------- >>>>> "tlug" == <owner-tlug@example.com> writes: tlug> MIME-Version: 1.0 tlug> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" tlug> Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit tlug> From: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Thomas_B=E4tzler?= <tbaetzle@example.com> etc tlug> -------------------------------------------------------- tlug> from =?iso-8859-1?Q?Thomas_B=E4tzler?= <tbaetzle@example.com> tlug> -------------------------------------------------------- Anybody know what to do about this? With a conforming MIME tool, the headers get translated to beautiful ISO-Latin-1, but the stupid TLUG blurb doesn't, because the headers say "Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit" when it needs to be "quoted-printable" to get the text translated. (It's all perfectly legal ASCII, you see.) Thomas deserves to have his name spelled correctly. Next TLUG meeting is Saturday October 11, 1997 ----------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor will appear below TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System. www.twics.com info@example.com Tel:03-3351-5977 Fax:03-3353-6096
