Another way to get the same functionality as your Pilot is to use
Co-pilot (under Windows) or XCopilot (for real OSes).  This is a
way kewl hack.  It includes the user interface and a 68xxx emulator
that runs with a copy of the ROM sucked out of your Pilot.  You can
use your mouse and the standard Pilot interface/Graffiti, plus you
can use your keyboard.

xcopilot is a must have.  TopGun Postman (from the same source) is 
a useful mail application that will do POP3/SMTP.  Write irritating
messages to your colleagues during your morning train ride!
