Hi all, For some reason, this month's Linux Journal makes me feel like I'm living in a cave. Anyway, in the At the Forge column, there's a recipe for making cookies, and as usual, I started going through the examples as a way to learn more perl. But, as soon as I tried to use the diagnostics module the scripts broke: couldn't find diagnostic data in /usr/lib/perl5/pod/perldiag.pod /usr/lib/perl5/i486-linux/5.003 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/i486-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl . ./cookie-test.pl at /usr/lib/perl5/diagnostics.pm line 225, <POD_DIAG> chunk 507. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at ./cookie-test.pl line 3, <POD_DIAG> chunk 507. perldiag.pod IS in /usr/lib/perl5/pod and when I updated to 5.003 I used the standard make install so everything _should_ be where it's supposed to be. Any ideas on why this might be happening? All the other modules I've used so far seem to be working fine.
