Christmas morning here and as good a time as any to say hello and
thanks to all on tlug. Wish I were in Tokyo (lived in Kokubunji off
and on for about ten years until a year ago) to attend the
meetings. Both my son Michael and I have been long-time Linux users;
my main emphasis is just to use Linux as my OS of choice for all my
computing needs, whereas Michael, as a hard-core C++ programmer, is
deeply involved in the technical issues and has made a few
contributions to FS apps.

Right now, my focus is Emacs 20.x. You can expect questions about
this, especially the CJK multiscriptual support, from time to time.
So Hello and hope you all have/had a Merry Christmas!

Jon
