tlug: Problems with Toshiba notebooks?

Hi all,

does anybody have any experience with Toshiba notebooks under
Linux ? I want to buy one here for a friend at home to be run
under Linux. I heard that there might be compatibility problems
with some models. So, if there are any known problem models I'd
like to avoid them. Any info on that ?
