Or is this a bug in the 'alpha-going- > on-beta' Mystique support in XFree? Any ideas or solutions would be much > appreciated. I also have a Mystique card, but I had no problem using it with the XFree SVGA driver. I only had 2 MB of video ram on the card, so I don't even think I could go to a depth of 16 at 1280x1064. I think I was using 8. At the next lower resolution (I forget the numbers) but what you are using, I could go to a depth of 16 and that is in fact what I am using now. So if you are having a problem with a depth of 16 and resolution of 1280x1064 (and you only have 2 MB) I guess you could count yourself lucky you can get it at all. If you have a problem at the next lower resolution, or at a resolution of 1280x1064 with a color depth of 8, then I would think there might be something wrong with your adapter. (Or I was lucky) Anyway, just some numbers for you to compare. Good luck.
