I am trying to use my fax locally as a printer for my laptop. Does anyone know a number in Tokyo that I can dial to keep the line quiet while I fax? I hope there's a test number, loopback, or something (I don't know what to call it) with only local calling charges. Just starting to dial a number yields only enough time to transmit about 1 page. -- David Beutel A monk asked Ryuge, "What did old Masters attain when they jdb@example.com entered the ultimate stage?" "They were like burglars 11011011 sneaking into a vacant house," Ryuge replied. --------------------------------------------------------------- Next Saturday Meeting: 14 February 1998 12:30 Tokyo Station Yaesu Chuo ticket gate. --------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor: TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System www.twics.com info@example.com Tel:03-3351-5977 Fax:03-3353-6096
