Never seen the source - works great, though.  We used it in my physics
classes at the U of U on old IBM RISC stations.  Slow as hell (ran AIX) -
at the time I had a 486/33 with 8 megs of ram running Linux 1.2.3, and it
blew away the AIX machines :) -- I always liked it in that it was simple
in terms of user interface, but VERY powerful, and it did neat 3D charts.
