MARCH PRESENTATION: Future of the Internet
Speaker: Roger Boisvert, President, Uvae Chairman Global OnLine Japan K.K.
3/18/98-Wed, 6:45-9:00pm. Club KARMA's event hall, 5 minutes from Osaka JR.
No charge for MEMBERS.

Where is the internet going?   Newspapers, radio, telephone, fax,
television, video, shopping, multi-media, interactive gaming, virtual
reality and more are all currently available on the internet. What is next?
What new services will be made available? Will the govt keep better track
of our movements/actions?

This meeting will be an interactive discussion on the future of the internet.
We will discuss how the issues of technology, regulations, economics, etc.
drive the internet and its future. What are Mr. Boisvert's predictions for
the future? If you work with the internet or just send email on the
internet, this is a KPCA meeting you won't want to miss!

Mr. Boisvert is well known in the Japanese computer industry. Former
president of Tokyo PC Club and ICA, he established the OA/IT Group in
McKinsey-Japan before moving on to creating Japan's first commercial
Internet service.  When his leg is not in a cast, he can still be seen
leading experts and beginners alike up Japan's rock faces and frozen
waterfalls in the Japan Alps.  Be sure to read about him in the ACCJ-Japan

PRICE: Through special arrangements with Club KARMA, the meeting fee is
FREE for paid up annual members, others: 2000 yen. Drinks/food will be
