Communicator 4.05 for Linux is now available for download on Netscape's FTP
site.  They haven't listed it on their web site yet, but a friend of mine
who just grabbed it tipped me off to its presence on the FTP server:

ftp://ftp.netscape.com/pub/communicator/4.05/shipping/english/unix/
