To me, $B6P$a$k(B sounds like doing a job while $BL3$a$k(B sounds like serving a duty. You can guess from what kind of the complexes are there available. There are examples of $B3'6P>^(B, $B6PB3G/?t(B for $B6P$a$k(B. There are $B@example.com!"LrL3!"I~L3!"G$L3(B for $BL3$a$k(B. There are distributions of how those complexes are used in context. $B71FI$_(B usage seems to comprepond to the complex usage. Also there is interchangeable usage. for example, $B8@$&(B and $B1>$&!#(B But, unpopular ones seem to fade away. There are always people who use unpolular ones for a taste. Still in the end they sound same. So there is no control over how the language is used. You can choose kanji complex and whatever it sounds like. for example, $B8^7nGh$$(B. So I recommend $B2s5m(B instead of $BC88E(B and still make it sound $BC88E(B. Nobody stops you.
