tlug: VRML

Hi all,
     I am still without any clue, what is wrong with my Linux
box which wouldn't give VRML data to me. It gives me just a
sequence of codes and codes instead of Graphic.

any help?

I want to set mime.types for VRML.
mine is

image/x-world                  wrl
image/x-vrml                   wrl
image/x-world                  mus.d96
image/x-d96                    mus.d96

yet somehow something wrong somewhere. 
can I get tips?
