As also noticed in another posting to this list, there is a problem with compiling `scanner.l' on some system. This is due to the use of the keyword `inline' in two places in the file `scanner.l'. I have no idea which versions of gcc accept this, mine (2.7.2.3) doesn't. But you can get rid of the error message by simply deleting both occurences of the keyword `inline'. (Probably incur some performance penalty as the function won't be inlined, I guess.) I also tried compiling with VFlib, which works fine, but brings me to the question of (a) where to get fonts for VFlib (e.g., the `minsl' font that `mgp' complains about when started on `sample/tutorial.mgp') and (b) where does VFlib expect the fonts -- there is some vfontcap file, but where should I put it etc. Does anybody have any experience with VFlib?
