Thanks Jim, I got pilot-link up and running. I also wrote a small script called sync to lessen the number of keystrokes to sync. In your message you mentioned KDE, but I don't know what that is. Also, do you know where to get the gui for the pilot-link stuff? I would like to put that in and then see how it is written. Since my /dev/cua0 ended up being the pilot, I guess that confirms that I have been trying the wrong devices for my modem. I will try the higher end when I get back into Linux again. Sad to say, but I am still writing this from Windoze as you can tell from the header. Wish me luck. Thanks again, Eric S.
