Ah, but does it re-partition on the fly without wiping out your existing
partitions?  That's the big draw with Partition Magic.  It does that, and
does it absolutely reliably.  While of course, I always recommend taking a
volume backup before doing anything like that, in practice I usually
don't.  I've been using it for about two years without a single problem,
and the odds of a power outage are pretty low, so I take my chances :-)
