Okay, I will try to find that book in English. Maybe I will order it from Amazon.com. I do have a question though. If you use ppp for the nullmodem, then how to you pon to the ISP? Is that what you meant by the use of the gateways? I guess that is also in the Networking book. On a slight side-note, is there a script out there to 'pon', 'smail <get mail option>', and 'poff'? Just want to save some Yen by getting off the phone asap... Thanks Karl. I am beginning to be very amazed at the technical prowess of this group.
