I saw a message as follows.....
In this article,
Mr.Nozawa writes that he has R3230 based on R3000 MIPS chip.
He wanted to install linux in it and collect information, but 
now his status is that turns on the power supply disappeared.

BTW, I don't know about MIPS machine, I've never seen it :-(
I don't know whether it can run linux or not.
